Finance Project Controller - Galway (hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Key objective of the role:
Manage project financials for global program.
The project controller works with program/project managers to ensure the overall program stays within budget and gets delivered on time with the resources available. The project controller will help identify areas of improvement for project operations by closely monitoring program progress.
Responsibilities:
* Review program deadlines and budget with the program/project managers regularly.
* Provide input and address questions from the finance department.
* Coordinate statements of work, work orders, purchase orders, invoicing, and payments with system integrators and vendors.
* Update corporate financial tools for forecasting (Daisy / Captrack / Digtracker).
* Create project progress reports and make recommendations for ways to improve project progress.
* Analyze performance data to establish performance metrics around project financials.
* Anticipate potential problems and develop risk mitigations.
* Represent the team as a key contact, liaising with other internal departments, manufacturing sites, project managers, and stakeholders.
* Compare ongoing project activities with the project management plan and project performance baseline.
* Ensure the project adheres to all corporate and IT policies and standards.
* Effectively manage the constraints of project management: Scope, Cost, Schedule.

Collaboration: Works collaboratively and productively with internal finance, information technology, and local manufacturing sites to receive and provide input on program-related matters.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience in large-scale IT project/program management. Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and Microsoft Excel experience are key to success in this role.
Requires a Bachelor's or University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
