Job Title: Healthcare Supervisor
Location: Longford
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of our healthcare assistants, conducting spot checks and client reviews, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct spot checks with healthcare assistants in the community to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Undertake client reviews to evaluate the quality of care delivered and identify areas for improvement.
* Complete staff introductions and shadowing to ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Provide emergency support through our Rapid Response system, including filling new packages and discharges.
* Evaluate and monitor the quality of care delivered and report concerns to the area manager.
* Support the development of the care team and contribute to their growth and development.
* Collect journal notes from clients' homes and deliver Careplans, log sheets, and gloves as required.
* Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to clients.
Office Duties:
* Update online system documentation, including reviews and spot checks.
* Develop a plan for working weeks, booking reviews, and confirming with NOK and clients.
* Create a system for completing spot checks with healthcare staff.
* Be responsible for filing paperwork.
* Provide support to coordinators with uncovered tasks in emergency situations.
* Attend weekly check-ins with teams as required.
Requirements:
* Relevant health or social care background.
* 1-2 years experience in Homecare.
* QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support.
* Willingsness to complete Level 6 in Supervisory Management.
* Full driving licence with access to a car.
* Good standard of English - both spoken and written.
* Flexibility to work alternative weekends.
