We are looking for an experienced Groundworker with expertise in working on pavements, concrete, and tar, as well as operating heavy machinery. Key Responsibilities Please note, this position cannot consider overseas applications. Key Responsibilities: Concrete Work: Perform tasks involving the placement, levelling, and finishing of concrete. Kerbing/footpaths: Assist in the preparation and construction of footpaths to meet project specifications. Drainage Ducting: Install drainage systems, ensuring proper alignment and function, with preference given to those with prior ducting experience. Site Preparation: Prepare and maintain work sites, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure project goals are met on time and to a high standard. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations. Requirements Ability to operate machinery (e.g., excavators, rollers, dumpers). Valid plant/machinery operation certificates (preferred but not essential). Full, clean drivers license. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Experience: Preference given to those with prior Kerbing/concrete finishing experience. Certification: Must hold a valid Safe Pass. Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work.
