Job Description
The Director of Education plays a key role in developing and enhancing qualifications in an all-island and international setting, as well as planning, developing, and implementing commercial strategies to support business development and new products and services.
Responsibilities
* Curriculum: The provision of effective curricula that provide the wider ATI educators, students, and member community with a measurable plan and structure for delivering quality ATI further and higher education & lifelong learning.
* Apprenticeship: The provision of further and higher education technician and technologist apprenticeships.
* Programme Management: The management of ATIs programmes, student supports, and services on an all-island basis and the provision of excellent educator advice & in-service training.
* Quality Assurance: The assurance of ATIs QQI, SOLAS, & HEA regulatory compliance and the management and continuous improvement of ATIs Quality Assurance Systems (QAS), policies, processes, and procedures.
* Assessment: The implementation of ATIs annual Assessment strategy, the operational management of its online assessment delivery, and continuous improvements.
Requirements
* Essential Criteria: Extensive experience in Higher Education; strong Commercial acumen; proven ability leading, managing, and developing teams; Post Graduate qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
* Desirable Criteria: Evidence of a successful innovative and creative thinking; outstanding engagement and communication skills; strong self-awareness and evidence of dedication to personal development and improvement; confident and highly credible with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
