Process/Utilities Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Process/Utilities Engineer to join our team at a leading Biopharma company in Cork.
About the Role:
This is a 12-month contract role that involves ownership and accountability for utility systems within production buildings. The successful candidate will have experience from an API environment with an engineering qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning and maintaining utility systems, including nitrogen, glycol, steam, waste, vent/vac, HVAC, purified water, solvents, etc.
* Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across the facility, including utilities, process equipment, process safety, energy usage, business processes, etc.
* Maintaining an equipment and building system optimisation plan.
* Sharing ownership of process equipment and support systems with manufacturing Process Engineers to ensure equipment uptime and productivity.
* Representing the user group for building utility/facility upgrade projects, inputting into design and coordinating system handover with projects and C&Q groups.
Requirements:
* A degree in Process/Chemical Engineering or similar L8 qualification.
* A minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing areas, including Production Operations/Unit Operation support and Production Operations Utility support.
* Experience in Process Safety and Quality Compliance aspects of manufacturing and project delivery.
