Supply Chain Manager Navan - Insulation Your future job Based at our head office in Navan, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing a team of Production Schedulers and Transport Planners across all Unilin sites.
Preparing, directing and co-ordinating the execution of the daily production schedule and transport planning in partnership with manufacturing operations and customer demands.

Excellent communication skills.Strong organisational and administrative skills.Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative.High attention to detail.Knowledge of Microsoft Package in particular Excel.Key Tasks and Duties:Providing leadership to your team ensuring optimum performance.Identifying and analysing logistics, scheduling problems, and introducing solutions.Responsibility for the development, coaching and management of your team.Create team KPI's and SLA's and give direction and instruction to team members to ensure these targets are achieved.Ensure minimum backorders by maintaining and defining stock levels.Ensure department achieves company step targets.Providing material product availability information to customers.Liaise with external sales/customers on order/delivery queries.
Drive capacity plans for each production line.Highlight anomalies in a timely manager and work with departments to complete actions to resolve issues.
Aligning inventory with plant objectives and targets to ensure inventory optimization.
Elevate issue to department heads if recovery planning is unsuccessful.
Liaise with all relevant internal stake holders across sites to provide accurate order status information.
Lead, manage and co-ordinate the transport scheduling to ensure all deliveries are within SLA, and aligned to customer requests.Co-ordinate and problem solve, as needed, transport alignment to plan.Liaise with transport companies and procurement department as required to ensure smooth and effective process and planning with our haulier partners.Undertake any other task appropriate to the position, as requested by managementWork within the ethos and standards of the company.
