Graduate Facade Engineer

Your responsibilities:
1. Work within the façade team to develop façade solutions that align with the Architects' aesthetic requirements and the Design team's performance requirements (with respect to performance criteria: u-value, solar overheating, acoustic, structural movements, fire performance, etc).
2. Carry out engineering design, calculation, and documentation of façade system design.
3. Coordinate with internal and external parties on all façade related issues.
4. Research and input into aspects of façade systems: performance, material, quality, maintenance, progress, and cost.
5. Develop digital tools to enhance quality and efficiency of façade design.
6. Review technical submittals for adherence to project-specific contract requirements.
We seek the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
1. Degree in Architectural studies (Architecture or Architectural technologist), Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Proficient in sketching.
3. Proficient in software packages (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Engineering design packages, etc).
