Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager to drive our company's continuous growth in Cork.
This field-based role involves generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and closing deals with new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth through Air/Sea services.
* Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue.
* Setting manageable weekly visit targets in agreement with the Sales Manager.
* Collaborating with operations and logistics teams for seamless coordination between sales and service delivery.
* Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using our CRM system.
* Maintaining exceptional customer service and upholding KWE Ireland values.
* Conducting market research and analyzing competitors' products, pricing, and market success to identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry (2-3 years).
* Strong knowledge of global freight forwarding (Air/Sea).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
* Client account management, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* A full valid driver's license is essential.
