This team ensures that all Fund Servicing operational activities are met for our clients' or FIL’s investment vehicles, including mutual funds, segregated mandates, real estate funds, private asset funds, and other investment products. Their responsibilities span the entire lifecycle of Fund Servicing including Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, IBOR Operations, Alternative Assets, Fund Solutions and Shared Services, ensuring that Fund Services operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations.About your roleThe Fund Servicing and Oversight Director of Implementation will be responsible for leading the management and implementation of fund servicing and oversight operational changes, including product, client-specific and internal initiatives. This role will oversee the implementation of fund servicing and oversight solutions, ensuring they meet client, internal operations and product needs while managing the integration of process improvements, system upgrades, and regulatory changes.The Director will work closely with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors, to drive operational improvements and ensure successful implementation of new operating models, systems, technologies, and services. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy and ensuring that Fund Servicing and Oversight activities align with FIL’s wider business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Operational Change Management LeadershipLead the identification, design, and execution of operational initiatives within the fund servicing function, ensuring they meet internal, regulatory, and client needs.Oversee the development of Implementation management plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.Implement processes for tracking and reporting on operational initiatives, ensuring accountability and transparency across all stages of implementation.Implementation OversightOversee the end-to-end implementation of new fund servicing solutions, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.Manage the integration of new systems, processes, and technology with existing operational workflows and platforms.Work closely with IT, product, fund solutions and operations to ensure that the implementation is aligned with both client requirements and internal organisational capabilities.Stakeholder Collaboration and CommunicationPartner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation execution and alignment across teams.Facilitate communication between business units to ensure all parties are informed of changes, timelines, and impacts on operations.Act as a liaison between senior leadership and operations teams to provide insights and progress on operational change initiatives.Process Optimisation and Continuous ImprovementLead continuous improvement efforts to enhance fund servicing processes, leveraging automation, technology, and industry best practices.Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of change initiatives, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for future improvement.Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to optimize fund servicing operations.Regulatory and Compliance AlignmentStay abreast of regulatory changes affecting fund servicing, ensuring all changes and implementations are compliant with relevant regulations.Leadership and DevelopmentFoster a collaborative and high-performance work environment that encourages growth, development, and continuous learning.Ensure that FSO team members have the resources and training needed to succeed across implementation streams and stay ahead of industry trends.Risk Management and Issue ResolutionIdentify risks and challenges associated with operational changes to fund servicing operations, implementing mitigation strategies to reduce potential impact.Ensure that operational change-related issues are quickly addressed, escalating where necessary and driving corrective actions to minimize disruption to clients or operations.Develop and implement contingency plans for critical initiatives, ensuring business continuity and minimal client impact.About youBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.At least 15 years of experience in fund servicing, fund administration, or change management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.Proven experience in managing large-scale operational or client initiatives, including fund migrations, system implementations, process redesigns, and technology upgrades within the fund servicing or financial services industry.Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results under tight deadlines.Deep understanding of fund administration, fund structures (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds), and related regulatory frameworks.Excellent client relationship management skills, with experience managing complex operational initiatives with clients and or internal stakeholders.Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex issues, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions effectively.Feel rewardedFor starters, we’ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
