To support Maynooth University in achieving its ambitious global ranking objectives, we are seeking a Ranking Strategy and Insights Officer who will be instrumental in the development and implementation of the University’s Ranking Strategy. The successful candidate will lead the coordination of all processes related to the collation, analysis, and monitoring of data for the University’s engagement with key Global University Rankings. This role will involve providing critical insights to Senior Management, informing strategic decision-making that drives performance improvements in rankings.
The appointed individual will also play a key role in supporting the establishment of a University Rankings Strategy Working Group, coordinating its activities, and ensuring alignment with the University’s broader strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and analysing large, complex datasets. They will possess the ability to transform data into actionable insights that guide decision-making at all levels of the University, including senior leadership. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be adept at presenting data in a clear and compelling manner. Strong data visualisation skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams across various departments will be key to success in this role.
The person appointed will be based in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation and report to the Vice President (or nominee). Please note that reporting and organisational structures may change in line with project and organisational developments that may take place over the course of the period of the Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
