Job Description
A leading multinational company in Cork seeks a Finance Manager for a 16-month Fixed Term contract. The role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, and the opportunity to work with an experienced Associate Director.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the annual statutory audit and preparation of Financial Statements under IFRS.
* Prepare monthly US GAAP corporate reporting, including P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, gross to net reporting, and SEC External reporting requirements.
* Review and post month-end close and accounting transactions; analyze, review, reconcile, and resolve P&L and balance sheet accounts.
* Participate in the accounting close and financial reporting process (Closing of ledgers and related tasks at month end).
* Produce statutory reports or reports for regulatory authorities as required (Including reports to the Central Statistics Office (CSO).)
* Maintain ledger integrity and ensure financial compliance with worldwide Controller's manual and applicable laws and regulations.
* Interact successfully with internal and external auditors and support quarter-end, interim, and year-end audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication.
* Evaluate processes and recommend and implement process improvements.
* Help develop, maintain, and assess internal controls related to Gilead's accounting and financial reporting systems.
* Interact successfully with non-financial personnel and business partners.
* Ensure adherence and implementation of SOX controls and processes.
* Assist with ad hoc FP&A reporting and analytics, including partnering with the business.
* Participate in special projects, as needed, including supporting the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Release 2.
Requirements
* Professional Accounting Qualification - ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA.
* Multinational Experience advantageous.
* Experience working with an ERP system essential, particularly Oracle or SAP S4 Hana.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
