In the International Business Expansion & Store Operations Manager (IBESOM) program, candidates will experience all aspects that make Supermac's successful.
The IBESOM provides overall leadership to the store, setting goals and objectives to drive business performance.
The IBESOM directly supervises store personnel and sets out a plan for each to ensure contributions to store performance.
Conducting business daily as if acting as an individual owner is critical to the success of the IBESOM program and Supermac's vision to expand into international markets.
IBESOMs can rely on support from the Operations Manager and Area Manager to align goals with the overall company, but the IBESOM largely dictates specific location leadership.
Key functions include hiring, staff motivation, training, health & safety, community involvement, inventory control, and labor control.
THE JOB: Coaches, counsels, and develops Assistant and Trainee managers into a state of self-sufficiency to build and maintain high sales and profits.Pioneer international market entry strategies and execution plans when requested.Respond to requests from various head office departments.Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders when requested.Lead recruitment, selection, placement, training, development, and HR plans.Present international market analysis and feasibility reports when requested.Engage in community initiatives generating business and goodwill.Investigate and respond directly to employee relations and customer complaints with significant business impact.Prepare detailed business plans for international market entry when requested.Plan and prioritize effectively.Operate within the guidelines of the law.Adapt to new procedures, standards, and changes as directed by company policy or legislation.Conduct in-house appraisals in a timely manner leading to a personnel development plan for all employees.Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, especially in public.Refer all media inquiries to Area Manager/Marketing Director.Understand customer profiles and target the market effectively.Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and nights.Meet set targets regarding food costs, labor costs, customer count, QSC Audit, and mystery shopper and pizza audit scores.LEADERSHIP: The IBESOM program places significant leadership from Day 1.
IBESOMs supervise others and efficiently coordinate their work, delegating tasks to the most appropriate staff members.
They remain in control in difficult situations, providing clear direction and authority.
IBESOMs lead by example, promote quality food, systems, and service, and are dedicated to customer satisfaction.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: IBESOMs are prepared for a fast-paced, "non-stop" environment.
The role is physically demanding at times due to business requirements, necessitating prolonged periods of time without sitting down.
INTEGRITY: IBESOMs communicate intentions, ideas, and feelings openly and directly, are candid and honest.
They ensure actions are consistent with words and solicit feedback about performance.
