UX Support Engineer (Contractor) (Full Time)

Description
Our clients are predominantly business owners who are focused on ensuring their day-to-day operations perform as they should. I.T, networks, systems, and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider, and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T. requirements so that people don't have to worry about whether their data and systems are protected.
This contractor opportunity will be based full time on site with one of our customers based in Trim, Meath.
Responsibilities:
* Configuration and support of user laptops/desktops, applications, and printing.
* Management of video conferencing systems.
* Support and management of the client's audio-visual equipment and meeting rooms.
* Support the client's digital signage infrastructure.
* Respond to Level 2 and priority helpdesk tickets as required.
* Record, update, and track all user issues/requests and correspondence in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Requirements:
* Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience of the setup, imaging, and support of desktops and laptops on Windows O/S.
* Recent experience of Windows 10 O/S and hardware rollout involving user migrations is essential.
* Hands-on experience configuring and supporting user peripheral equipment including USB devices, personal printers, cameras, wireless peripherals, docking stations, scanners, wireless headsets, etc.
* Strong working knowledge of all aspects of Windows 10 networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), Active Directory integration, client certificates, and Windows 10 O/S patching.
* Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting user desktop applications such as MS Office 2016, MS Outlook configuration, and practical hands-on experience in supporting computer networks and related infrastructure.
* Hands-on experience in setup, support, and troubleshooting of meeting room A/V equipment including cameras, microphones, tabletop control units, room booking panels, wireless presentation units, TV screens, and large touch screen displays such as Avocor/Clevertouch, etc.
* Working knowledge and hands-on experience in managing video conferencing systems including both desktop client and hardware for room-based systems such as Poly or similar.
