Opportunity for an experienced Office Assistant to join a well-established medical device company in Athlone. This is a permanent role, based onsite in Monksland, offering excellent compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide proactive, high-quality support to the Management Team and staff across a range of responsibilities while managing all office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for welcoming and assisting visitors, serving as an ambassador for the company.
3. Organize and facilitate internal and external meetings, including video conferences.
4. Provide comprehensive support for travel planning, including booking flights, accommodations, and other travel-related requirements for the Management Team.
5. Monitor and ensure follow-up on agreed action points, ensuring timely completion.
6. Oversee office facilities and services, coordinating with third-party providers as necessary.
7. Administer ID systems, including issuing badges for permanent and fixed-term employees.
8. Provide administrative support to various business areas as needed.
9. Address office and building requirements, liaising with service providers for utilities, pest control, and cleaning services.
10. Set up and manage accounts with suppliers, such as stationery and cleaning services, to ensure operational needs are met.
11. Assist the General Manager with various administrative and operational tasks.
12. Collaborate with the Management Team and employees across all business functions, maintaining effective communication with external stakeholders in Ireland.
Essential Experience and Skills of Customer Office Assistant:
1. 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
2. Experience with social media and branding (desirable).
3. Problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
4. Outstanding communication both written and verbal.
