Role – Construction Manager
Location – Ireland
Mint Selection are partnered with a leading EPC who are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a 12-month starting in the New Year. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale solar construction projects and be adept at coordinating with multiple stakeholders including contractors, engineers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
3. Report to project managers and subcontractors.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
5. Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
6. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.
7. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
8. Train and mentor site personnel on safety practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
7. Certification in safety management is a plus.
8. Must be willing to be on site 5 days per week.
