Brand Manager - Health & Beauty
This job description sets out the scope of the role of the Brand Manager - Health & Beauty with the main duties of the position at the date when it was completed. Overview / Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Brand Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of health & beauty brands. In this role, you will develop and execute brand strategies, manage P&L, and drive marketing initiatives to grow market share and brand equity. This role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Portfolio Management
1. Develop and implement annual brand plans to drive sales growth, market share expansion, and brand awareness.
2. Leverage market insights and business analytics to inform decision-making and maximise brand performance.
3. Manage pricing, product range selection, and promotional strategies, utilising competitor and market data to optimise positioning.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners, fostering strong, long-term relationships delivering monthly reports to principals & SMT.
5. Take full P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
Marketing & Execution
1. Lead all consumer marketing initiatives, aligning with global brand strategies while tailoring campaigns to the local market.
2. Create engaging presentations for brand partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
3. Develop creative briefs for outsourced marketing activities, ensuring alignment and approval from brand partners before agency engagement.
4. Represent brands at key trade and consumer events, enhancing brand presence and engagement.
5. Continuously track and evaluate brand performance, adapting strategies to respond to market challenges and opportunities.
6. Align Key Accounts, Field Sales, and Training team to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
7. Participate in customer meetings, supporting brand development and planning initiatives.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand growth.
9. Work closely with internal departments such as Master data, Quality, IT & procurement.
Commercial & Performance Management
1. Monitor brand profitability, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives.
2. Identify and assess new market opportunities, evaluating their commercial viability.
3. Track and report on key performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
4. Monitor competitor activity and market trends, proactively implementing strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and optimise stock management.
6. Work closely with Sales Operations and Planning teams to ensure smooth administration and execution of brand plans.

Key Experience / Skills / Education
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Brand Management or Marketing within a fast-paced, dynamic organisation.
2. Proven experience in the health & beauty area, personal care, pharmacy, or grocery sector.
3. Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand strategies and marketing plans.
4. Strong experience in stakeholder and brand partner relationship management.
Education:
1. A third-level qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is essential.
