Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Motor Technicians with experience in vehicle servicing and diagnostics to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, following dealership and Volkswagen standards.
* Coordinate with the parts department to source required parts and update the workshop manager on delays or special orders.
* Identify and diagnose vehicle issues, carrying out repairs upon receiving approval from Service Advisors.
* Properly store and label parts for warranty claims or customer requests.
* Conduct vehicle health checks to identify any additional maintenance or safety concerns.
* Immediately report to Service Advisors if extra work is required, the job is unnecessary, or repairs cannot be completed on time.
* Perform road tests to verify completed repairs.
* Stay updated on Volkswagen technical bulletins and participate in manufacturer training programs.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Recently qualified technician who has completed an apprenticeship.
* Ability to complete job cards accurately and meet factory standards for warranty documentation.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain additional work needed to Service Advisors or customers.
* Experience using Autoview systems is an advantage.
