Sulzer Pump Solutions Ireland Ltd (SPIRL), part of the Flow division of Sulzer, specializes in pumping solutions to meet our customers. We are looking for a Buyer to join our FE_WIBU team in Ireland. We're seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our Wexford team and drive our growth. You'll play a crucial role in supporting site manufacturing operations and achieving strategic objectives by leveraging your strong purchasing expertise, commercial acumen, and deep SAP knowledge.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring all purchasing data entered to company systems is accurate and current to enable accurate reporting and KPI management.
* Ordering and expediting as required.
* Master Data creation and maintenance.
* Implementing purchase and inventory strategies for components and executing exception messages generated by ERP (SAP).
* Ensures all purchases are executed in line with the Global & local procurement policies.
* Report out monthly on dashboard of own portfolio.
* Lead Quarterly business reviews with own key suppliers.
* Other tasks as may be assigned by the company.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Highly motivated and ambitious.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar procurement role.
* Advanced SAP expertise.
* Relevant Procurement qualifications and/or experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* IT literate.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organization.
