What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements and customer priorities
2. Communicate to shift/team on daily tasks, changes to working procedures, H&S, Audit etc
3. Complete shift handovers accurately with oncoming/off going Team Leaders & Shift Manager
4. Update your team on required targets/rates, and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback to colleagues, taking action on poor performance where required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
1. Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, from goods in, to despatch
2. Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
3. Well-versed in warehouse management systems
4. Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
