This role is critical in supporting the General Manager in the daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
* Assist in the day-to-day management of the store.
* Ensure smooth and efficient operations, maintaining high standards of service.
* Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and stocktaking.
Team Leadership:
* Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team to deliver excellent customer service.
* Schedule staff shifts and manage timekeeping.
Customer Service:
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
* Ensure the team provides outstanding customer service at all times.
* Implement and maintain customer service standards.
Sales and Marketing:
* Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet targets.
* Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
* Monitor sales performance and provide reports to the General Manager.
Financial Management:
* Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
* Monitor and control expenses within the budget.
* Ensure accurate cash handling and banking procedures.
Health and Safety:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
* Promote a safe working environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications and
