LiaisonFor the successful implementation of this role there are a number of key relationships which should be fostered and developed. Primarily these will be with Area Managers, Directors, Project Officers, Service Coordinators and external stakeholders. Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesFacilitate training using various modalities to a variety of internal and external stakeholdersAssist in the design, development and delivery of course content and contribute to relevant policy developments both regionally and nationallyCo-ordinate and support IWA panels of trainers as requiredRecording all training and keeping up to date records using our learning management systemProvide monthly and other reports as necessaryTo carry out any other relevant and appropriate duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time by the Manager PERSON SPECIFICATIONTraining, Experience and Qualifications A third level qualification (minimum level 7) in a relevant field, for example Training, Education, Social Care, Health or other relevant areaQQI Level 6 qualification in Train the Trainer is essential2-3 years’ experience of training facilitation, preferably in the disability/social care sectorExperience with developing content for virtual or self-paced learning solutions, virtual communities, performance support tools, self-assessments,E-learning videos, and curated micro learning.QQI People Handling Instruction CertificateExperience in the delivery of QQI programmes is desirableRecognised qualification in Health & Safety is desirableExperience of delivering training on a commercial basis is an advantage Knowledge and SkillsExcellent presentation skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essentialKnowledge of disability issuesA full driving license and own car are essential BehavioursAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThe ability to work on your own initiative and to contribute to a dynamic training teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organised with ability to work under pressure, prioritise & multitask Remuneration & BenefitsSalary range from €46,161 to €55,856 DOEPaid expenses and mileageExcellent working conditionsLearning & development opportunities25 days annual leavePRSA Pension scheme availableEmployee Assistance Programme The closing date for applications is Thursday 2nd January 2025 Interviews will take place on Thursday 9th January 2025.
