Looking for Rigid and Articulated Lorry Driver
Due to continued expansion, Athboy Plant Hire are seeking a Rigid Lorry Driver and Articulated Lorry Driver for low loader work. We are a Plant Hire Company based in Athboy, Co Meath. We also have a depot in Wicklow. Working as part of a busy transport team, our Drivers deal primarily with the delivery of plant and access equipment. Must have experience, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
1. On-time delivery and collection service
2. Building good working relationships with our clients
3. Ensuring that all required documentation is accurately completed
4. Responsible for safety, showing courtesy to other road users and complying with the rules of the road
5. Communication with management in terms of problems, arranging loads, reporting accidents, and any other occasions where such contact is necessary
Requirements
1. Full Clean License essential – Category C
2. Full up-to-date Driver CPC Card
3. Safe Pass is necessary
4. 1 year HGV driving experience
5. Customer focused and driven
6. Ability to solve problems in a fast-moving environment
7. Good communication skills
8. Team player, flexible and have the ability to remain focused whilst under pressure
Must hold a clean valid HGV License E+C class to apply for this position.
