Controls Group is seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DeltaV
Engineer to join our automation team. The successful candidate will work under
the guidance of senior engineers to develop and maintain control systems using DeltaV
platform. This position offers the opportunity to grow technical skills in
automation and process control while contributing to exciting projects in a
dynamic environment. Key
Responsibilities: System
Configuration: Assist in the configuration of DeltaV control systems, including
the setup of controllers, I/O, operator interfaces, and networks. Software
Development: Participate in the development of control logic, process graphics,
and batch applications using DeltaV’s tools and programming languages.Testing
and Commissioning: Support the testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of
DeltaV systems in both laboratory and field environments. Perform loop checks,
hardware diagnostics, and system validation.Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system
specifications, control narratives, functional design specifications, and test
protocols.Project
Support: Collaborate with project teams to deliver automation solutions on time
and within scope. Provide support during project planning, execution, and
closeout phases.Customer
Interaction: Assist in providing technical support to clients, including
on-site support when necessary. Respond to client inquiries and help resolve
system issues.Continuous
Learning: Stay current with DeltaV system updates, industry standards, and best
practices in process automation. Engage in ongoing training and professional
development. RequirementsQualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation,
or a related field.Technical
Skills: Strong knowledge of DeltaV automation technology, including
configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.Experience:
2+ years of experience in automation, process control, or a related field.
Internships or co-op experience with DeltaV or other control systems is highly
desirable.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn and
adapt to new technologies quickly.Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work
effectively within a team environment.Attention
to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and
