Job Title: Assistant Cost Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Cost Manager to provide support to the Finance/Commercial team in the monthly review of cost forecasts, actual costs, budgets for projects, payment applications, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
* To apply sound cost management principles and practices in all aspects of finance and commercial delivery.
* To be an excellent written and verbal communicator with a high level of numerical acumen and strong attention to detail.
* To support the team in managing the development of Cost Reporting / Forecast tools, cost collection (time and expenses), maintenance of cost tools developed to date.
Requirements:
* Relevant project experience in construction (2/3 years).
* A relevant Level 8 qualification as per the National framework of qualifications with 2/3 years post-graduation experience or relevant work experience.
* Desirable skills include Systems knowledge, D365 or similar ERP, PM Systems / Cost Systems; Procore, Cost X, Contract Master, or similar management systems.
