The purpose of this position is to support the set-up and delivery of Aztec Ireland’s tax service proposition in co-ordination with the Group-wide model, contributing to the local management team as well as supporting the Luxembourg tax team.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of Irish corporate tax returns, the calculation of tax provisions and the review of tax assessments
* Maintain appropriate records of our clients’ tax affairs, the work we provide on their behalf and associated filings
* Consistently and comprehensively follow Aztec’s internal control framework and processes
* Review the work prepared by tax trainees
* Coach the tax trainees
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
* At least 2 years of previous experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
* Experience in the alternatives space in Ireland is a plus
* A relevant Tax-related qualification such as Chartered Tax Advisor
* Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is desirable
* Fluency in English is required
* Advanced Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, skills
* The ability to work collaboratively with diverse client teams
* Attention to detail to ensure the delivery of consistent and high standards
* Excellent organisational and people skills
* A commitment and desire to deliver high-levels of client service
* Ability to think critically and creatively, work under pressure and within tight deadlines
