We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Breakfast& Afternoon Tea Manager for our River Room Restaurant at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) The River Room Restaurant hosts Breakfast each morning followed by Afternoon tea in luxurious surroundings and with stunning views of the estate and Lough Corrib. Key Responsibilities: Manage day to day execution of Breakfast and Afternoon tea service. Manage the daily operations of the River Room Restaurant. Ensuring departmental goals are achieved. Proactively drive sales within the department, to ensure sales budgets are reached. To recruit, on board, train and develop team members. Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments ensuring the guest experience is flawless from start to finish. Maintain a presence on the restaurant floor, ensuring all guests needs are attended to. Resolve any guest complaints which may arise, making sure that corrective actions are implemented to avoid any issues repeating. Design and implement SOP's across both breakfast and Afternoon tea. The ideal candidate will possess: Restaurant Management experience in a 5 Star environment. Passion for delivering impeccable customer service Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
