Experienced Field Service Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Tipperary on a permanent contract.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity will suit an individual with a strong electrical background and solid experience in installing and qualifying machinery and equipment.
Frequent travel to customer sites is involved, providing the successful candidate with the chance to work on various projects and develop their skills further.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and commissioning of new equipment, including the execution and documentation of IQ, OQ, PQ (Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification) for systems supported by the business.
* Service and maintain systems installed at customer sites.
* Repair and test electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment associated with our product offering.
* Assist in the design and development of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment as part of our continuous improvement program.
* Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings and risk assessments (e.g. FMEA) to develop validation strategies.
* Contribute to initiatives such as 6S, lean principles, and GMP/GDP within the team.
* Maintain all company equipment in good working order throughout its lifecycle.
Requirements:
* A trade qualification is essential, with a level 7 engineering degree being a distinct advantage.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical machine build/support.
* Previous installation and qualification of machinery and equipment is preferred.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
