What is the Role:
The Technology Cloud Platforms team are responsible for building and maintaining our Public and Hybrid cloud platforms to support AIB's Technology strategy.
The Cloud Engineer is a key role on that team, accountable for the successful and timely delivery of AIB's Cloud Platforms for AIB.

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help build our hybrid cloud future, and who can: Key accountabilities; Deploy, support and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on Azure and on-premises integration.
Collaborate with project teams to implement and support a robust hybrid cloud environment across Microsoft Azure and AIB On-Premises environments.
Own production incident and problem resolution, ensuring operational issues are managed and resolved as quickly as possible.
Undertake effective root-cause and trend analysis of threats and issues, liaising effectively with stakeholders and ensuring lessons learnt are embedded into BAU.
Ensure that changes to production platforms are captured in the change management system and performed at a time appropriate to the risk involved.
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of hybrid cloud services.
What you Will Bring ; +8 years of professional experience.
* 5 years of experience as a Cloud or Reliability Engineer.
Strong knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, Jira, Confluence.
Certification in Azure technologies, additional certifications in AWS would be a plus.
Project experience migrating and deploying cloud based solutions (GCP, Azure or AWS) with an understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
