Kildare Salary €44K - €46K About the Company: Our client here at Inform3 are recruiting for a Quality Supervisor to join their team where you will gain valuable knowledge across multiple supply chains, product categories and customers within the food industry with regards to food safety and regulatory compliance.
Within this role you will report to the Head of Quality Management and will have the opportunity to develop and grow our career with a global well known Food Manufacturing company.
As the Quality Supervisor within the Technical team, you are responsible for working closely with the Quality team in maintaining and refining the company's QA system.
Duties Involve: Assist in training and Develop the Quality Officer Team.
Participate in all Quality Audits.
Lead all audits in the absence of the Site Quality Manager.
Drive quality in terms of food safety and Product Quality resulting in improved audit results and reduction in customer complaints Coach and Train staff on floor through documented SOPs Conducting Traceability/Recall audits, reporting issues to production and working with production to drive improvements.
Dealing with customer complaints including Investigation and close out with production and quality team.
Management of the micro sampling plan, trending results and highlighting any issues to the Production cleaning team.
Management of the Calibration schedule for the site.
Management of Pest control programme for the site.
To work with the operations team to build in quality into our production processes to ensure we get quality right first time.
Skills Required: Minimum qualifications Diploma in a food related discipline.
4+ years experience working within a Quality role in Food Manufacturing Sector.
Previous experience in internal audit procedures is advantageous.
Understanding of HACCP and TACCP systems, with the ability to conduct audits.
Experience with certification and regulatory compliance audits is preferred.
Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
