Job Title: Quality Coordinator
About the Role
We are recruiting a Quality Coordinator to support our hospital's mission of providing outstanding patient care and shaping tomorrow's health system through clinical and technological innovation, research, and education.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the quality function within the hospital and work closely with the wider UPMC Quality function, clinical and support teams, and Senior leadership team.
* Assist in coordinating the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation and HIQA compliance and licensing process.
* Ensure and coordinate all aspects of evidential compliance in the form of policies & procedures, KPIs, QIPs, audits, tracers, and data collection.
* Contribute to hospital-wide and departmental quality initiatives by performing assessments and analyses of operations and processes.
Requirements
* Received or currently undergoing a qualification in Quality in Healthcare (Degree or equivalent).
* 5 years' experience in a similar role or healthcare setting.
* Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of developments within the healthcare quality.
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office skills (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and knowledge and experience of using an email system effectively.
