**Newly Created Role - Reporting to the Financial Director**
The newly created role of Financial Reporting Analyst will play a critical part in supporting the company's strategic goals by providing high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including reconciliations, management packs, business review packs, tax packs, and audit packs.
* Develop and deliver flash reports as required to inform key stakeholders.
* Manage the reconciliation of the stock ledger, maintaining its integrity and relevant provisions through meticulous calculations.
* Perform appropriate journal entries/adjustments (with accompanying documentation) to ensure timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations.
* Provide variance analysis and commentary for month-end, highlighting areas of improvement.
* Assume assurance and control responsibilities, ensuring thorough reviews and reconciliations, including sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations/reviews.
* Ensure the reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Register by creating, transferring, and updating assets on the system.
* Collaborate with the Head of Finance and other business areas to drive process efficiency and continuous improvement.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis initiatives.
