Utilities Lead - Pharmaceuticals - Cork - 12-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:
1. The Utilities Lead will work within the mAbs / CUP buildings for NGB-02 facility and has accountability for managing assigned vendor packages. The role will report to the mAbs Project Manager to support the overall Project timelines and deliverables.
2. The role will encompass a “cradle to grave” approach for vendor supplied packages and ancillary support systems.
3. This role requires a depth of understanding of Utility Systems (Clean / Grey Utilities) through the design, application, and troubleshooting within the project. Must understand mechanical utility systems adequately to be capable of troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
4. The Package Lead will interact and align with the A&E Firm Design Team, CQV, Automation, Construction, Procurement, etc to deliver the specific packages in line with the overall program.
5. The role will support a variety of utility systems (Process Gases, Air, Water, Steam Distribution and Process Waste Streams) including but not limited to meetings with packaged equipment vendors and design firms to ensure Lilly equipment and design standards are being followed to provide consistency for the entire site.
6. The Package Lead will co-ordinate and manage the specific packages during vendor fabrication.
7. Will be the point of contact “on the ground” when packages get to site.
Skills/Experience Required:
8. Degree qualified, in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
9. 5-10 experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry and will competency in process design and management
10. Experience in Process Plant Technical Standards and design
11. Knowledge of CGMP’s and other worldwide regulatory requirements
12. Experience in developing project strategies
13. Developing high level project plans
14. Partner with third party organisations
15. Stakeholder management
