We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Day Service Coordinator to join our team in CHO6 Adult Services, currently located in Dun Laoghaire.
Contract Type:
Permanent, part time post.
Contract Hours: 17.5 hours per week.
Salary Scale:
€46,160 - €55,855 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post:
The Coordinator will be responsible for leading the effective development and delivery of the day service using a person-centred approach and in line with New Directions.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team in delivering quality standards of care and support to adults with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, using a person-centred approach and in line with New Directions.

The successful candidate will have
Essential Criteria:
Third level qualification in Social Care, Nursing or equivalent.
Or Third level qualification in business or management.
Registration with governing/professional body as relevant.
Knowledge and experience of working in the disability sector.
A minimum of 3 years' experience working with adults with disabilities.
Management/coordination experience including managing people and staff support and supervision.
Experience of a high degree of professional autonomy in relation to the key areas of administration Experience in delivering services within the social model of care Experience of individual case management, care plans, monitoring and evaluation.
Experience of supervising staff.
Hold full, clean drivers licence.
Eligible to work in the State.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience of working with behaviours of concern.
Experience in community-based services/programmes.
