Maintain an up-to-date demand calendar covering all citywide events.Implement and drive daily activities including profile updates and changes to reservations to increase accuracy and efficiency of information disseminated throughout the company.Track sales programs/promotions and provide feedback as necessary to relevant teams.To ensure strict chasing/follow up/contracting procedures are in place and adhered to.To identify potential sales leads for the Corporate and Leisure sales teams to develop future business.To lead the reservations team to improve their upselling skills to enhance average room rate and overall yield.Conduct market research and analysis, ensuring market trends are monitored.Audit and process travel agency commission and work with finance to ensure accurate monthly accruals of commissions are made.To develop a good working relationship with both Corporate and Leisure accounts to encourage future loyalty and business.Attend corporate sales events/showcases as relevant to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.Leading, motivating and training the Reservations team in all aspects through direction and leadership.Actively develop team members' skills and performance through coaching and training by setting clear goals and developing new ideas to improve organisational processes.Ensure that all relevant system training is planned, completed and recorded.Audit operating standards & procedures in the group department to ensure they comply with company guidelines.Ensure regular communication and meetings within the Reservation team.Project related work as required.Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Accurate with a good attention to detail.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Experience with Opera Cloud.Experience with hotel sales and reservations.Confident and a clear communicator.
