Job Description:
As Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing office administration and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
You will report to the Financial Controller and provide support to the Finance and Management team.
The company processes several thousand invoices per month and aims to build on its existing controls and procedures following a successful business reorganisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Board Reporting Packs
* Reconcile all balance sheet control accounts including accruals and prepayments
* Manage debtor and creditor accounts
* Prepare monthly lead schedules for Group FC
* Develop Annual Budgets & Monthly Outlooks
* Review costs and implement processes to identify savings opportunities
* Analyse margins and highlight improvement areas
* Support Statutory Annual Accounts Audits
* Oversee Invoice Financing Facility, Returns & Audits
* Monitor and report Cash Flow
* Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to build strong relationships with key commercial teams within the business
Requirements:
* ACA qualification
* 3+ years' experience in industry or practice dealing with industry clients
* Ambitious individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
* Experience with multiple ERP systems advantageous
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
