Job Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Warehouse Manager to lead our team at Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee warehouse operations.
2. Ensure accurate and timely stock movements on the company's MRP system.
3. Monitor data to optimize warehouse layout and stock integrity.
4. Implement procedural controls for all activities.
5. Fulfill customer orders on time and in full.
6. Maintain compliance with Quality Standards (BRC, IFS, ETI, Customer Specific, Pest Control, NCR's).
7. Manage customer delivery/collection requirements daily.
8. Coordinate the collection of raw material (Offal) from the Island of Ireland.
9. Manage Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Forklifts and Epicom.
10. Ensure legal compliance with Import/Export Requirements.
11. Oversee contracted Security Providers for Man Guarding and site security.
12. Conduct risk assessments to prevent unauthorized entry and support Food Defence requirements.
13. Monitor external areas, including Pallet Storage Areas, Trailer/Vehicle Parking, and Car Park.
14. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
15. Lead the team, providing clear direction and efficiency.
16. Support supervisors and general operatives as needed.
17. Adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times.
Personal Competencies & Qualifications:
1. 5 years' experience in Warehouse Management.
2. Experience in goods in and goods out, preferably in an FMCG environment.
3. Good working knowledge of Warehouse Systems, ERP Systems, and Excel.
4. Experience in stock management, including daily and periodic stock counting cycles.
5. Ability to delegate tasks and ensure responsibility is taken by the team.
6. Collaborative and confident, with the ability to influence peers and senior managers.
