Senior Mechanical Engineer (Data Centre Projects)
Join our team of experienced engineers in Dublin or Cork, EMEA.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead large-scale data centre projects. This role requires expertise in European data centres and mission-critical environments.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex projects, managing mechanical and electrical engineering services across various building types.
* Develop and specify controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering applications.
* Conduct surveys, testing, and reports on existing installations.
* Evaluate construction, installation, and testing against specifications and client needs.
* Making key project decisions, liaising with clients, and providing expert advice.
* Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, teams, and contractors.
* Validate engineering calculations and designs to meet industry standards.
* Coordinate engineering services with a holistic approach.
* SUPPORT JUNIOR ENGINEERS
Requirements:
* BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in Engineering or substantial industry experience.
* MCIBSE/MIEE or HNC/HND with relevant experience.
* Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
* Proven experience in mechanical and electrical design across multiple sectors.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, BS standards, and industry codes.
* Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
* Excellent project management, organisational, and presentation skills.
* A consulting or construction background is preferred.
* Experience in international projects and global consultancy operations.
