Base pay range
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Manager to join our dynamic team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and start-up phases of projects, ensuring that all systems, equipment, and processes are tested, validated, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and leadership experience to contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate all commissioning activities for projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
* Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in line with project specifications and client requirements.
* Oversee the execution of commissioning activities, including the testing, debugging, and handover of systems and equipment.
* Lead a team of commissioning engineers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as required.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of commissioning processes into the overall project lifecycle.
* Monitor and report on commissioning progress, identifying potential issues and proactively implementing solutions.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and client specifications throughout the commissioning process.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Engineer, or similar role in complex construction or engineering projects.
* Strong technical knowledge in commissioning processes, testing, and systems start-up.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
* Proficiency in commissioning software, project management tools, and MS Office Suite.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience in commissioning within industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, industrial facilities, or data centers.
* Knowledge of automation systems, control systems, and SCADA systems.
* Previous experience working in Dublin or the surrounding areas is an advantage.
* Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., PMP, CEng, etc.) are a plus.
