Tendering Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Tendering Manager to join our team in Co Kildare. Our company is a leading High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services provider, offering electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services for significant electrical infrastructure projects in Ireland, UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the entire tendering process from initiation to conclusion.
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring that Tender invitations are captured and recorded.
* Maintain and update Tender Folders, keeping all relevant team members informed.
* Compile precise and well-organized submissions in a timely manner.
* Ensure all aspects of tenders (Technical, Financial, and Contractual) are submitted and processed on time.
* Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Oversee the maintenance of the cost database.
* Briefly build and maintain relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.).
Requirements
* A minimum of a Level 8 Degree in a relevant qualification (Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying).
* Excellent project management and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* 10+ years experience in a senior role in a MV/HV environment, with at least 5 years in a Commercial role.
* Experience working in either the Irish or UK market, with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
