The Role
Tesco Ireland is seeking a Line Manager who will support and lead a department and team to deliver the best shopping trip for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
* Leading the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager is not present
* Ensuring team members are fully trained and validated in their role
* Driving a culture of zero food waste and managing date codes
* Recruiting passionate colleagues and understanding cleaning specifications
* Managing stock control activities, warehouse layout, and processes
* Root causing incorrect prices and ensuring customers are charged correctly
* Managing front-end operations and recognising excellent customer service
Requirements:
* Demonstrated track record of delivering the right way for customers and colleagues
* Adaptable and agile thinking
* Delivering key objectives in a fast-paced environment
* Previous retail experience preferred
