SME Sales Advisor Role
We have an opportunity for a Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Sales Advisor to join our Ballymun Market Place team.
The purpose of this role is to grow sales within the small to medium business sector, including online, corporate hampers, gifting and drive continuous improvement.
* Drive sales in line with SME budget targets
* Drive profit in line with SME budget targets
* Manage online processes and customer registrations end to end
* Manage all KPIs associated with the SME channel
You will identify sales opportunities working with the Floor Manager & SME Sales Mgr to identify new target customers with sales opportunities to grow profitable sales.
Work on own initiative to seek out new business but also drive customers who are lapsed or in decline, getting more of the basket from customers.
Manage and complete all relevant weekly sales reports using MWP systems to report to the SME sales manager and branch manager.
Maintain proactive customer communication and engagement through different channels: mail, digital and face to face.
To ensure wholesale standards in your area are consistently excellent (merchandising, product availability, HACCP, H&S).
Engage with all departments to grow sales and customer satisfaction.
Form strong relationships with key sales and trading colleagues.
Work cross functionally with all departments to ensure consistent delivery of excellence service levels to our customers.
Manage Online sales and activities responsible for setting up new online customers, managing temporary accounts.
Drive Seasonal opportunities - Hampers, Gifting - own all occasions.
Experience, Skills and Education:
* 2-3 years knowledge and sales experience in wholesale or retail
* Experience/knowledge in wholesale industry or direct retail sales (competitors/range/customers)
* Customer focused with an ability to develop strong customer relationships
* Fully flexible with working hours
* Go above and beyond where necessary to get the job done
* Passionate about food
* Ability to change, adapt and be flexible
* Ability to work cross functionally
* Leaving Cert or equivalent
