Quantity Surveyor Job Description
Advise on contractual matters, process claims, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contractual Claims: Process claims and associated records.
* Revenue Maximization: Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and reduce costs.
* Project Cash Management: Assist with cash management and ensure timely closure of final accounts.
* Correspondence Support: Advise and support with project correspondence.
* Negotiations: Negotiate subcontract and suppliers' prices and terms.
* Risk Register: Ensure risk registers, variation trackers, and extension of time tracker sheets are reviewed and updated monthly.
Requirements:
* Professional Qualification: Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management degree or equivalent.
* Experience: 3+ years in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects.
* Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and time management skills.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
