Credit Control Manager
We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team in Derry/Londonderry.
As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for managing the Credit Control team and taking ownership of all credit control activities within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of credit controllers.
* Oversee the credit control team and their portfolio of debtor accounts, ensuring adherence to company processes, credit and payment terms, credit checks.
* Produce and analyze debt analysis reports, highlighting risks, variances, and action plans.
* Maintain cash flow forecasting on a monthly basis.
* Process bad debt collection, including small claims, insurance, letters, etc.
* Work with the Sales Director to manage problematic accounts.
* Resolve billing disputes, complaints, and discrepancies within specified timeframes.
* Support daily activities of the credit control function as required.
* Develop strategic partnerships across the management team, promoting communication, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of the credit control function within a business.
* Previous managerial experience in a high-volume billing environment.
* Ability to prioritize workload and lead a team under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
