The Assistant Project Manager reports directly to the Project Manager as required.

Your Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for managing a set of stakeholders, ensuring project timescales are met, and supporting the management of construction project design, estimation, and planning.
You'll also assist with project control, including resourcing, service delivery requirements, consultant supervision, and approving payment certificates.
Additionally, you'll help manage project delivery plans, contractor plans, cash flow projections, and earned value analysis.
Furthermore, you'll support the day-to-day management of construction service providers, ensure conformance and compliance, and provide input into the development of new templates and processes.

Your Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need a relevant third-level qualification in engineering or a related project management discipline.
You should have experience in managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects, preferably in the water utility sector.
Strong knowledge and experience of project management, contract management, strategic planning, methodologies, and construction delivery best practice are essential.

Your Skills and Experience
You'll have strong business acumen with a financial perspective at the forefront and experience using project, programme, and financial management tools such as Oracle.
You'll be proficient in Microsoft Package and have proven track record dealing with issues proactively and in a timely fashion.
You'll also be able to communicate complex information to all stakeholders and have experience in delivering similar roles within fast-paced construction or consultancy environments.
