Senior Structural Engineer
The successful candidate will join the Sisk Strategic Projects team as Senior Structural Engineer.
The preferred person will bring hands on Structural Engineering experience and will use this experience to harness the capability of an established existing team. This person will provide mentoring, structure, and guidance by leading by example.
You will be:
1. Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for strategic projects (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates)
2. Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases)
3. Provide Technical solutions, guidance and mentoring to an established Engineering team
4. Liaising with, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers
5. Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design
You will have:
6. Completed a third level structural, structural or design engineering qualification.
7. A minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering
8. A minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering
