Role Summary: The Compliance & Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are manufactured per customer specifications and the necessary quality standards. The role also ensures that production batches are verified before the product is released to customers Key Responsibilities: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of medical device components and finished products. Conduct inspections using various tools and equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and visual characteristics. Utilise testing equipment to verify product functionality and performance. Document and record inspection and test results accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed inspection records, including batch/lot numbers, inspection dates, and results. Communicate quality issues and non-conformities to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and production teams to address quality concerns. Review and verify batch records to ensure the product has been manufactured in accordance with customer specifications Communicate discrepancies with batch records to operations as necessary Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and systems. Propose and implement efficiency improvements in inspection and testing procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Educated to leaving certificate standard or equivalent. Quality-related qualification preferred The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes: Strong attention to detail and strongverbal and written communication skills. Understanding/awareness of Customer requirements in terms of quality and delivery. Ability to impart knowledge in a clear, concise manner. Demonstrate working as part of a team with common goals.
