Job Description:
Your new company
As Grade V Administrator, you will join a professional team in a trade union organisation that is responsible for protecting the rights and pay of its members. Your new office is located in Santry and is accessible via public transport. You will work on a permanent part-time basis, 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), with a hybrid working model.
Your new role
As Grade V Administrator, you will ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the association's branch by providing direct administrative support to its committees, subcommittees, and senior management. Your support duties will include, but are not limited to: managing queries, stakeholder management, processing memberships, coordination of travel arrangements/external member training/events/conferences, facilities duties, recording, digitising and archiving documents, producing reports, updating and managing databases, and all executive and general administrative duties that fall into your new role. You will also be responsible for carrying out Accounts Assistant duties, including accurate recording of invoices, payments, credit card transactions, subscriptions, and T&S expenses into SAGE accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have recent relevant experience in a senior administrative role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on a broad range of tasks and prioritise your workload are essential. You should have proficiency using MS Office along with bookkeeping or accounts experience using SAGE. A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills are required. With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar administrative position, along with proficient administrative and booking/accounts skills, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
