The Role
Join our Development team as a Development/Senior Project Manager to lead transformative projects across the development lifecycle, gaining experience on some of Ireland’s largest developments. The role involves managing projects from inception to completion, working closely with various teams and stakeholders, and overseeing multidisciplinary project teams, budgets, and schedules.
Responsibilities
* Manage developments at all stages, from concept through to delivery.
* Lead design, technical, and contractor meetings, ensuring follow-up actions.
* Appoint design teams, service providers, and contractors.
* Prepare and manage development budgets, collaborating with finance.
* Conduct site feasibility studies and identify development opportunities.
* Engage with stakeholders such as authorities, utilities, and landowners.
* Monitor project progress, costs, and quality; report to the board.
* Mitigate project bottlenecks and ensure project close-out, including statutory compliance.
* Coordinate with internal teams for handover and operational transition.
* Maintain relationships with tenants and technical representatives.
* Support development management aspects like planning, legal, and sustainability.
* Promote sustainability standards and reporting in projects.
* Develop expertise in climate risk and sustainability programs.
* Ensure quality and safety during site visits.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in construction, project management, quantity surveying, or related field; Chartered status preferred.
* 5+ years’ experience in residential/commercial project delivery.
* Experience managing large budgets and governance.
* Strong knowledge of project management, BC(A)R, and Irish construction/regulations.
* Familiarity with construction contracts and lease agreements.
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Understanding of sustainability issues in real estate and construction.
