Turas Nua is a leading provider of employment support services, working with individuals who are unemployed or employed part-time on low earnings. We deliver our services under the IPNES contract, which is funded by the Department of Social Protection.
Purpose of Role
As a caseworker, you will work with clients referred to our service, managing their caseload and coordinating internal and external support specialists to provide a personalized support service. You will also provide one-to-one advice and support to guide each client's progress towards sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage a robust case management plan for each client, working towards sustainable, full-time employment.
* Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify client goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment, informing a structured personal progression plan.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including intensive job search support when they are job ready.
* Identify, structure, and recommend training solutions in consultation with in-house tutors, meeting specific learning needs.
* Fast-track job-ready clients for immediate job interviews brokered by Employer Services consultants.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local labour market.
* Organise daily schedules, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, online meetings, and email correspondence.
* Work closely with specialist services to assist clients in their journey towards employment.
* Present and facilitate workshops and group-learning presentations weekly.
* Achieve contractual KPI targets, managing a caseload of clients.
Person Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable individual with strong case management capabilities, decision-making skills, relationship skills, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport and trust with clients, motivate them to own their journey, and achieve change.
Essential Requirements
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* Minimum three years' experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
* Strong IT skills, experience in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Excellent administrative skills, fast and accurate data entry skills.
* The ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals, both in person and over the phone.
* Experience in delivering presentations in a group setting or public speaking.
* Strong prioritization and time management skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
