The Job:
We are currently working alongside a leading environmental services company located in Cavan to hire a Sales and Business Development Manager to join their team. This role bridges business development and integration, focusing on client relationship management, contract negotiation, and overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
This position will cover all of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key market sectors to grow the client base and revenue.
* Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, guiding leads through the sales funnel.
* Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches to meet client requirements.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that support business development efforts.
* Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the team to ensure seamless integration of managed services.
* Develop and implement project integration plans, outlining timelines, resource needs, and key deliverables.
* Work closely with project managers to track milestones and ensure alignment with client expectations.
* Identify suppliers for sourcing monitoring equipment that integrates seamlessly.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients during project initiation, delivery, and completion, ensuring high client satisfaction.
* Maintain open communication with clients to identify potential areas for repeat business and upselling opportunities.
* Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development and project integration activities.
* Prepare regular progress reports for senior management on pipeline status, project performance, and client satisfaction levels.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or similar preferred).
5+ years of experience in business development, project management, or a related field, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry.
Proven track record in successful project delivery and client relationship management.
Proficiency in project management and CRM software.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
